Village Pet Inn

We were so pleased to have our 2 dogs stay here. We were gone for 10 days. Elise and her team are fantastic. We felt so secure while we were away, knowing they were receiving excellent care. They loved the daycare and both had baths the day We picked them up. Highly recommend!

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone… very unprofessional and poor communication! I had a reservation at 6 the night before my trip, got there at 6:04 to find the shop locked up… no attempt to call me, nothing. I got family to watch him during the weekend, and on Monday, they dropped him off there. My family told them “double check with his mom, on how much food he gets each day. And if he runs out, call me and I’ll bring more”. Nobody called to confirm with me on his food. And so they decided to under feed him, and then when he ran out of food, gave him THEIR food, without my permission and never even asked for more to be brought! When I picked him up and found out how much they fed him, the woman tried to tell me “oh that’s plenty for his size”… NO, it’s not! He’s a puppy and need cups more dail

Having had the privilege to get to know the staff at Village Pet Inn and to use their services and products, it is evident that great thought and care has gone into every aspect of their operation. The staff are intelligent and caring people who treat every animal in their care with the same unreserved love and compassion they would accord to their own pets. I can think of no better business or people to entrust my animals to, and having a quality-first philosophy behind their business makes it a one-stop-shop for any pet product I need from real food to harnesses and supplements. I highly recommend both the people and the business to anyone in need of boarding, daycare, grooming or pet products.

I am furious. My 3.7 lbs. Maltese was injured by one of their groomers (Debbie Berry). Her SCALP was bunched under the overly tight rubber band bow in her top knot. Resulting vet bills and medications= $288. The apologetic owner returned my money for the groom, paid the initial vet bill. Now refuses to pay the last $84 (I paid addl $49 for meds). Said she feels she has been "more than fair". Has decided my dog is being treated for "yeast" (she seems to know more than my vet...). The groomer still works there. The last photo is my dog's current condition. Her hair may or may not grow back. I have been taking my dogs to this facility for about one year. The quality is inconsistent (and I have addressed this with the staff more than once), but overall, the staff is friendly and nice;

I gave five stars to the Village Pet because I took my fifteen year old boy in to get groomed. He is very sweet and weighs 45 lbs. He also has arthritis in his back joints. Roxy has groomed him before and recently joined this establishment. She takes very good care of him and I will go to them again! The place was clean and the staff professional and friendly!
