Veterinary Treatment Facility

Can only be used by military (active and retired). Wonderful staff and vets but can be hard to get an appointment. They do have a walk-in urgent care but phone ahead to check hours.

Very pleasant experience. My pup was in distress for the first time in over 2.5 years and the vet took great care of her and was very informative throughout the entire process.

I can’t thank the Ft. Belvoir Veterinary Treatment Facility enough for their kindness, professionalism, and compassion during a recent (and very stressful) situation. We had a critical appointment to get a health certificate for our cat before a big move—but on the morning of the appointment, she went missing inside the house. Total panic! By the time we found her, we had already missed our scheduled time, and we were devastated. But when we called the clinic, the staff went above and beyond to help us. Despite their busy schedule, they found a way to squeeze us in later that week. Their willingness to accommodate us in a pinch meant the world to us! Very friendly and professional vets and techs. The primary clientele are working dogs, so the schedule fills up quickly. They occasionally hold vaccine drives. They are on a common network with other base vet clinics. Better than competitive rates with outside vets.

First visit and I just want to say thank you so much to the team. Annie, was absolutely a star. My pups were comfortable around her and she definitely gave me a hand when my toddler began to act out. Dr. G (lovely man) was so patient with me and my dogs were so calm with him. They made the entire process wonderful. I highly suggest going in to schedule your appointment if you can. Phones can be busy due to employee shortage. But nonetheless, they were doing their best and we’re super helpful and attentive.
