Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care West - Open 24 Hours

Brought my boyfriends dog, Tank, here last night after he was showing some unusual symptoms. The tech warned me it would be a bit of a wait so I didn't mind. They were incredibly kind and showed consern and care for Tank. I'm very grateful you guys were open 24/7. Thank you for being there when our loved ones need it ❤️

I took my dog there at 11 PM because he acted like he had been posioned. My dog was lifeless, lathargic and limp in my arms. They told me they were too busy and I would have to take him over the the other emergency vetiniarn hospital on Washington Street. This place calls themself a Hospital? They were just going to let my dog die and didn't care. I left and did go to the airport vet and my dog had gotten into posion and was dieing and needed emergency care or he would have been dead. The airport vet took him and immediatly started working on him. They saved his life as to where Noah's was just going to let him die! Horrible place!

I had to go here once, over a year ago, under very unfortunate circumstances. I really want to say Thank you to the staff! The staff were so accommodating, loving, caring, and accepting. They saw I was grieving and gave me the space to do so with my dearly departed best friend. It still breaks my heart to think about the loss, but I also smile because of this place and how they treated us. Thank you very much to the staff who were present the night in November of 2024. Called the clinic at 3am because Muffin was constipated after more than 36 hours of not going. We traveled to Indiana to visit family for Thanksgiving week, and she had a side effect from the meds we gave her to handle the flight. She was whimpering and her stomach was bloated — I had to get her help. Coming from SF, I was super impressed that there are at least five emergency pet facilities near where my family lives. I knew it was time for my lifelong friend to rest and tried to have courage to call and ask places for information. The lady who answered the phone was very understanding despite my inability to speak properly while trying not to cry. She told me all the options calmly, slowly, and thanked me for calling. Other places were not as gentle as this and I am very grateful for those that show this compassion and respect. I spent the next week caring for my baby kiba and trying to find acceptance in my heart but nothing can really help us be ready.
