Throughly impressed with the treatment and caring that they have provided for our canine. Dr Grove and her staff are truly phenomenal with the dedication and professionalism they have given to our 7.5 yr old girl who could not stand or walk due to a pinched nerve.

I cannot say enough great things about the amazing, caring staff here at VRCC. My pup, Luna, had a bad case of gastroenteritis and I had to rush her to the vet in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday. Upon arrival, the staff let me inside and promptly got me into a room to gather details on my girl. They took her back and got right to work with getting her hooked up to IV fluids and administering meds to ease her symptoms. During her stay there, she received round-the-clock care from the incredibly kind staff here who helped her through the very scary ordeal. We visited VRCC on 3/7 because our beagle was not eating or drinking - otherwise he was fine. The young lady answering my initial call was great. Upon arrival, we were taken care of promptly. After diagnostics, Dr. Van Beek took time and explained Sonny’s ailments. Unfortunately, euthanasia was the humane course. Dr. Van Beek was very compassionate. In all, we dealt with 4 employees. I cannot say enough good things about Veterinary Referral & Critical Care. I brought my kitten in after she became very sick very quickly, and from the moment we arrived, the staff acted with incredible urgency and care. We were seen right away, and it was clear that my kitten’s well-being was their top priority. Dr. Abernathy was truly exceptional. She were incredibly kind and compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly and thoughtfully. While the diagnosis was very difficult to hear, Dr. Abernathy was honest and transparent with us, which was deeply appreciated. This place is what a veterinary emergency service is meant to be. They were the only place open on Thanksgiving day where I could take my very sick boy who has a reaction to chemo treatment. They were thorough and compassionate in his care and truely helpful in relieving our wonderful guys pain and gave us time to say our goodbye.
