We have used this vet for almost 30 years. I always find both of the veterinarians to be Very empathetic and caring regarding my pets. They also do not jump to extensive and expensive testing before trying a number of routes that are easier on the pets that can solve the problem just as well as more sophisticated paths.

Sue Atkins is extremely knowledgeable and really takes her time with your pet. Highly recommend!

It's been a couple months since my family's dogs surgery but I can not thank the crew at Manakin Sabot enough. They were the busiest i've ever seen a vet, taking in emergency after emergency with complete grace meanwhile keeping me updated on my dog who isn't the easiest to deal with. Ultimately they saved my animals life while keeping me calm. These people are angels and our dog is going to live out a long, beautiful life. I still owe you a visit with flowers. THANK YOU!

We've been going here for many years. We've always had Boy dogs, but about a year ago welcomed the most amazing and loving, previously "feral" community cat into our home. The whole family goes here. We love the ladies and Sue Adkins is the BEST!

My in laws and husband have been going there for years, I took our beagle for her routine check up BUT I had a horrific and traumatizing experience. Upon futhur reflection, this seems to be the common interaction people have now with their office. Dr Adkins had an awful bedside manner and man handled my sweet beagle. The front desk was rude and short providing anxiety for both me and my dog. Dr Sue Adkins constantly talked down to me, rolled her eyes at my questions and made me feel as though my observations of my dog were inadequate. On her normal visit Dr. Sue aggressively grabbed the mass from the outside of her side.
