My Ginger injured her cervical neck and our vet recommended Veterinary Neurology Center in Tustin. I got appointment few days later. We meet Dr Phillip Schissler for consultation & he diagnosed her with IVDD( mineralized disc). Dr Phillip Schissler did MRI and surgery the same day. We got amazing results, Ginger will be back her Doxie self again. We got to pick up next day. Dr. Schissler and the staff were amazing, I highly recommend them.

I recommend this facility to friends and family. When we came in, Journey, my mini poodle couldn’t walk or move his legs. He ruptured a disc in his spine after jumping off a high bed. Now, he’s back to running and living his biggest, energized life alongside his sister. We had to rush our 55-lb German Shepherd mix to a neurologist after he suddenly lost the use of his back legs. Even though we live in Oceanside, our ER vet strongly recommended Veterinary Neurology Center in Tustin — and I’m so glad they did. We showed up first thing in the morning with no appointment and were incredibly fortunate to be seen by Dr. Furman right away. By noon, our pup was in for an MRI, and by 2 p.m., he was in surgery. The speed, coordination, and level of care were remarkable and very likely saved our dog’s life. We left with a diagnosis of IVDD, medications, and clear instructions on how to care for him during recovery. We are incredibly grateful for the Veterinary Neurology Center and the care our dogs received. At the end of last year, my dog Mato had surgery with Dr. Kiley Jensen, and this year my other dog Aigg was diagnosed with IVDD and treated by Dr. Stacy Dillard. Dr. Dillard helped with both Aigg and Mato, and she made a huge difference for us during a really difficult time. She always took the time to call, make sure I understood what was going on, and talk through the situation and options with me. She was patient, thoughtful, and very kind. It was clear she genuinely cared, not just about the medical side, but about how overwhelmed I was as well. I am so grateful I was recommended this facility. Our dog has been struggling with what we thought was IVDD for months with no clear answers or treatment plans from our vet. After finding this place, we were almost in tears with how patient and informative the doctor and all staff was. We got an appointment within a week of calling. The doctor took as much time as was needed to answer all of our questions and did not push any unneeded treatments onto us. We are so grateful to no longer be in the dark about our dogs health.
