Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH)

I brought my friend’s dog Ted in as an emergency when he swallowed a hearing aid. They couldn’t have been nicer. From the moment I spoke to the women on the phone to the vet tech to the Veterinarian. They made a stressful situation so much easier. I have been recommending them to all my friends with animals since this experience because it’s so nice to have somewhere to go in an emergency with your animals that is close. My cousin also brought her cat there a couple of weeks ago and raved about it as well. Please don’t hesitate to go there if you have an emergency…..I believe you’ll be very very pleased with the service and the caring and compassionate attitude that everyone I met had that night. I could tell they all love animals and want to make stressful experiences easier for everyone

They provided wonderful compassionate support... We had to recently let our beloved Mosbe go, and wanted it to be in the most compassionate environment. VESH staff made it a 'good' farewell, the best we have ever had with a precious pet. They provided a private room (with low lighting, very comfortable, and the detail that isn't thought of and should be), plenty of time to say goodbye. Compassion was also shown by having us pay inside the room, not having to checkout at the desk (while we were in great sorrow) They also provided a biodegradable box & lovingly readied him for a home burial...We can't thank them enough, and wanted to share our experience with VESH/Staff for anyone else who knows its time and needs a kind compassionate place to say farewell.

Took my princess Kaya in because she had delivered puppies on 1/15. On 1/16 she began to push and I noticed she still had a puppy in the birth canal. She tried so hard to push it out but it was unsuccessful. I immediately contacted the veterinary clinic and they told me to bring her right in. They took her back as soon as I arrived with her. They successfully helped her deliver the puppy but unfortunately the puppy did not make it. They were extremely caring and helpful during this process. My Kaya is doing great now no problems. I definitely would go back in an emergency if needed.

My service dog collapsed and I called and they took him right away. He went to the icu and was given everything he needed plus much love and attention. I went to see him and as soon as they believed he was ready they discharged him. I was afraid he was going to die but they explained everything in detail and I was able to rest easy. He’s home and I followed his after care. I’m so happy for the loving care he received.

We arrived at 11:00pm with our pit-lab mix who was having belly issues. We explained he didn’t do well with other dogs so they gave us a private room to wait off of the waiting room. Everyone was helpful and understanding of his temperament. It was clean and inviting. The techs and Dr were all wonderful and explained everything they would do as well as the costs prior to doing anything. We were there for awhile trying to figure out his issue. When we left he was hydrated, had prescription dog food, a prescription probiotic and pain medication. We could not be happier with the care Diesel received that evening right before Christmas!
