Veterinary Emergency Group

I had to bring my canine companion, Deke, in for an emergency. I heard about VEG through a coworker and I drove 1 hr 25 min to get to VEG as I live in a rural area without any nearby emergency animal hospitals. When I got inside I was immediately met at the door by a kind receptionist and he got us settled in very quickly. My dog gets uncomfortable around strangers, and they got us settled up for a room right away for the comfort of my dog. Vitals were started within 5 minutes of sitting in the room. Overall, all the tests Deke needed done were handled very compassionately and calmly by everyone who cared for him and if he was uncomfortable about something they stopped what they were doing and gave him a second to relax a little and be more willing. We have been to VEG Naperville several times. Each time their care, service and empathy has been incredible. They genuinely love animals and it shows. I cannot say enough about how great they are! We have two other ER’s within minutes of our house but choose to drive 25-30 minutes to go to VEG. 😀

Brittany did an excellent job taking care of any personal needs me and my dog needed. Very professional and attentive to the issues that arose! Knowledgeable in many aspects and couldn’t be happier with the service and professionalism received from her and the staff! Would definitely recommend for any Vet Emergencies!

Had to take my dramatic beagle here this evening unexpectedly screaming in pain, we couldn't figure out why. Dr. Sweetwood and all the staff were so compassionate and kind. We got him diagnosed and on the road to recovery with mostly good news in just a couple hours. Had a fantastic experience and will be recommending this clinic to anyone needing ER services. There are closer ERs for us but I'm glad we drove the extra distance and will be doing so again in the future. Thank you to all who helped our Roman tonight or even just came and gave him some love. He would say thank you too but he was poked several times while there and he does hold grudges 😅

Dr. Cass was fantastic, her two assistants were wonderful as well. I didn't catch his name, but the front-desk guy was my first engagement w/ your facility and he has a very calm, warm, and comforting spirit - I didn't call any other facility, I immediately came in because I felt like Hamilton would be taken care of. While I was waiting for test results, he was still being caring/supportive and checked in on me. Thank you (to the man, whose name I was too preoccupied to get) 🙏❤️
