We brought our little street pug in because his eye was really bothering him. They had us seen, treated and sent on our way in less than 2 hours for less than they estimated! Plus the place is so calm and quiet. You get to stay with your pet, they come to you! Everyone there is gentle and kind. They do not seem stressed and overworked - though I’m sure there are those days. Overall I’m very happy with the care and the whole experience. So glad we have an alternative ER in Marin!

I brought my cat, Sheba, to Vet Emergency Group because her breathing seemed off, and I’m so grateful for the care she received. Dr. Tracy Spiegelman and the entire team were incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive to my sweet baby. They kept me informed, treated Sheba with such gentleness, and made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Thank you for all that you do for our pets and the people who love them! ❤️

We cannot say enough good things about our experience today with our rabbit, Filbert. From the moment we arrived, the entire team showed genuine kindness, compassion, and care for both us and Filbert. We were seen quickly, treatment was initiated right away, and every interaction, from check-in to the vet tech who gently applied Kwik Stop to Filbert’s toe, to Dr. Tracy, was calm, thoughtful, and reassuring. We know this team sees pets and families on some of their hardest days, yet no one ever felt rushed or overwhelmed, and we never felt like our concern was too small. Instead, we felt listened to, supported, and truly cared for. The level of professionalism, empathy, and warmth throughout the visit was exceptional. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding care Filbert received and

We rushed our sweet boy to VEG ER Saturday night after discovering he had eaten a large amount of chocolate. The moment we arrived, he had a seizure right at the entrance. Within seconds, 4–5 team members were at his side treating him immediately. Their response was fast, coordinated, and incredibly professional. What stood out just as much as their medical skill was their compassion. They were not just focused on stabilizing him, they were constantly checking on us, explaining what was happening, and making sure we were okay too. We spent the entire night there, and someone came into our room at least every 45 minutes with updates or to check on him. They also allowed us to stay in the room with him, which meant everything to us. Our boy is our life, and they treated him and us that way

As a bunny mom, it’s rare to have a pleasant and thorough experience at an emergency vet—but after our visit to VEG Larkspur, a new standard has been set. My rabbit, Vincent, started showing signs of GI stasis early on Sunday morning. As a long-haired breed, this can happen from time to time, but after refusing food for more than four hours we knew it was time to seek help. I had been to VEG’s San Ramon location a year ago for the same issue, where they were able to give sub-q fluids until we could see a specialist the next day. But since this episode started on a Sunday morning, we couldn’t risk waiting without a more aggressive treatment. We arrived at VEG around 1 PM. The waiting room was full of dogs—a familiar feeling for most rabbit parents, who often feel overlooked in non-special
