Dr. Clayton and his staff are amazing !!! I am a veterinary technician and went to his practice to have 2 of my own cats dentals done . Dr.Clayton is very through and calls you personally to go over pre-anesthetic bloodwork, then he calls you after your pet is intubated and the radiographs are done. His techs are top notch and Savannah at the front desk is always so helpful and nice . I can't say enough positive things about Dr.Clayton and his team .

I’m incredibly grateful for the care my dog received from Dr. Clayton. He performed a very thorough dental exam, clearly marked areas of concern, and truly listened to my worries about a specific problem area. He created a thoughtful plan to monitor and properly care for my dog’s teeth along with some extractions. My dog is very anxious, and the compassion shown before and after surgery made a huge difference. The team followed up the next day and was genuinely empathetic and caring. Thanks to his careful approach, my dog is now using his front teeth comfortably and is happier and thriving. We’ve found our dentist for life. Micky is very grateful as well!

Dr. Clayton and his team provide outstanding care and service. I was initially anxious about my cat undergoing a dental procedure, but the staff did an excellent job explaining the process, calling with updates during the procedure, and providing detailed paperwork outlining the results and next steps. Everyone at the office is kind, reassuring, and professional. I highly recommend this practice.

When I adopted a young dog who had suffered a significant injury to her mouth (a kick under her chin as a baby), I simultaneously found how few veterinary dentists practice in the US, and that Dr. Clayton had fortuitously just set up a new practice in Rhode Island. Dr. Clayton and his staff were wonderful. Dr. Clayton was very thorough at our first visit, and explained all options for Skye (her injuries included broken/dead incisors, exposed tooth roots, compromised canine tooth). All my questions were answered and after her Cone CT revealed additional abnormalities, Dr. Clayton called me and discussed options before proceeding with surgery.
