If you're considering dental work here, i strongly recommend consulting with a regular vet for diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We brought our 15-year-old cat here with some possible mouth discomfort. One of the doctors recommended multiple extractions, even though our cat has coronary issues that would mean non-standard anesthesia. We were very hesitant, even up to the day before the surgery. The same vet convinced me that our cat was in constant pain, and needed the surgery sooner than later. I've never regretted a veterinary decision more. The day after we brought her home from surgery, it was obvious she was in very poor condition. Before, she could easily jump. Now, her back legs could barely support her weight while walking and she stumbles frequently. She can't even jump up

About to take my cat there for a full mouth extraction as she has stomatitis. Did take a while to get the appointment and it ain’t cheap (but that’s why you get pet insurance because pets aint cheap) but Doc did an awesome job at explaining the condition and putting my worries and concerns to ease. The staff have been great every time I call- thank you Macy and Brooke.

Expensive but worth it. They do what an average vet cannot, and they are really good about explaining procedures and breaking down costs. They got my dog a crown and they have a nice lounge for owners to wait in. They will even let you come into the suite and show you what's going on while your dog is under! Transparency is very important to me and I appreciate all they do to keep the owners informed.

We were terrified to do dental work, because we were worried about putting our cat under, but the surgery was unavoidable. Thankfully, we went here, where they gave her dopamine to keep her blood pressure from bottoming out during surgury. They have an in-house anasthesiologiest who put together an affordable plan tailored for our cat. Every member of the team is top notch but also incredibly caring and kind, including Dr. Brook Niemiec. Our vet had told us that we might have to get all of our cat's teeth removed, but Dr. Niemiec said this was not necessary. While it is not possible to know what teeth are affected by tooth reabsorption until the cat is under anasthesia, he only removed a few affected teeth, and scheduled us to bring her back in a year. We only had to bring our cat twice,

Traveling veterinary dental specialists that share the location of Ironhorse Vetcare. The dental specialists are only here on select days of the month. I brought one of my kittens here to get a consultation because our primary vet was concerned she might have stomatitis. The consultation was $110 and they were able to see us immediately. The other places I'd called were taking appointments 1-3 months out. Our consult was during the pandemic so we had to wait in our car but appreciated Dr. Ribka coming out in-person to discuss her findings. Fortunately, our cat ended up not having stomatitis and we did not use VDS but would consider going back for any dental specialty care. Their pricing for a dental is about double the cost of a dental with our primary vet, but they are specialists so I
