The team here is absolutely fabulous. They took really good care of my rabbit when she had GI stasis and needed to stay all day for treatment. Dr. Hess was very informative, and the technicians and assistants were very professional and calm, which was important for keeping my bunny from becoming too anxious. We felt very comfortable leaving Harry Styles the rabbit with them even though we were nervous about her condition overall. Christina was reassuring and she was great with Harry Styles. The receptionists kept us updated the whole time while she was in the back and when we had to leave her there, and a technician called us to let us know they got her to start eating on her own again after hydrating her and giving her pain medication.

Since Easter and Sweetie were only a year old, veterinary Center cared for them until their very last years of life. This year, 2025, has been one of the hardest for me. Easter passed away in June, and Sweetie on October 6th. I always gave them the best of me, even things I thought I couldn’t give, but somehow everything worked out until the very end. Over the past 9 years, I had good experiences with the Vet. My bunnies were cared for by three wonderful doctors: • Dr. Lauren Thielen (2016) — sweet and kind. • Dr. Michael Huffaker — very good and always patient. • Dr. Amanda Dewey — patient and explains very well what is happening with our pets. I have been holding off posting this review because I have been still grieving and processing this traumatic visit. I have fears of how the owner will reply about this. She has a bad reputation of being mean to bad reviews. I am sharing this review to warn other pet owners: DO NOT COME HERE! My blind rabbit Yeff, had been longtime patient of this clinic. I trusted their staff for years because they specialize in exotics and had previously treated my blind rabbit, Yeff, with care. We decided to bring her brother in. August 22, 2025, we brought our male rabbit in (Shalissa) due to him being lethargic the night before after a grooming appointment. I came from NJ about a 1 hour and 40 minutes trip (because of other reviews and after seeing their "youtube" videos) and it was so far, the best experience with a Vet ever!... They check your "Exotic Pet" (Our Ferret) in front of you and give you as much information as they could with "upfront" prices for everything, and I didn't find them expensive at all. Dr. Chaya Storch was very kind to spent about 30 minutes explaining us "Twice" what was the problem with our 3 year old Ferret. I think we have to support this "privately owned" "Real Vets" just because they are amazing, they really show care for your pet, they are absolutely knowledgeable and they are really disappearing. Great experience at this veterinary center! It's hard to find a vet that sees birds, so I had to travel a bit to this location. But it was worth it and I'm glad I went. They took there time, explained everything, and did a really thorough examination. Before doing any tests they explained each one, what it would cost, what their recommendations were given my bird's age. I highly recommend them.
