I’ve been to many veterinary offices here on the Big Island, but none compare to Veterinary Associates Inc in Kamuela. From the very first phone call to being able to get in quickly with my pets, everyone is incredibly caring and kind. The staff is amazing. Chelsey at the front desk is always so warm and compassionate—she truly makes you feel comfortable and genuinely cared about whenever you call with an appointment or concern. I’ve seen several of the doctors here, and every single one has been kind, informative, and attentive. They take the time to explain everything clearly, never rush you, and always make you feel heard. Dr. Wood performed our Coco’s C-section, and I can’t say enough about her. 10/10!! Well equipped clinic to handle all veterinary needs for your furry loved ones whether they’re big or small. Sees everyone whether you’re a client or not for 24 hour care 7 days a week! Worth every penny spent there!

RUDE SERVICE!!! We asked if we had an appointment today the front desk said “ NO WE DONT HAVE ANY APPOINTMENT FOR YOU!!!” Barking at us. Do not trust these people never again the lady has a ATTITUDE! We were also mixed up on the call

Waimea Veternarian Associates is the best place to bring your goat, cat or dog on the Big Island. The veterinarians on staff have been around for a while and truly care about your animal. Yea, sometimes it takes a few weeks to get an appointment so if you have to pay the emergency fee for an emergency, it’s worth it. They know farm animals better than anyone.

THEY KILLED TWO OF MY CATS!!! IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE THEM THERE! They seriously do not care about your animal. They do have vet techs there that are genuinely concerned. But the culture of the office is strictly money driven. I wish I could give them 0 stars. We thought it was just a coincidence that our other cat died there a year ago but now after two, it's very suspect. Regardless, she died in the car after spending 1 night there. My family is inconsolable. She literally died within 2 hours in the car with my children after their "care". I wish there was a way I could report them or hold them responsible. But if I can save other animals by having this opportunity to post this review it will have to be enough emotional retribution for me and my family.
