Customer Reviews
My family has been going to this vet for about 25 years, receiving care for our 4 dogs and cat in that time period. Unfortunately, in the last 5 years, the bedside manner, attitude, punctuality and overall quality of care from Dr. Cappel has declined so much that we've been forced to move on to a new firm for our pet's care. We're very disappointed and disheartened to make the move to a new vet, as the care was top notch for many years. But ultimately, it's very frustrating when an appointment is set for 10AM and you're not seen by the Dr. until mid-afternoon and then are treated very poorly by the Dr.; basically upheaving your entire days plans for a routine 5-10 minute check-up and being left with a sour taste in your mouth after being treated so rudely. We're very thankful for the year
This place is… insane. My appointment was at 9am and I wasn’t seen until 1:30. The receptionist told me to not even show up until 11:30 because she knew the vet showed up at whatever hour she pleased with no warning or communication with staff. So I sat with my confused elderly dog who whined and whimpered until 1:30 and my 4 year old who was crawling out of her skin. The waiting room is gross and in rough shape. Then we finally get seen and the vet seems like she’s either drunk or on some kind of drugs. She’s rude, short, interrupts you and just overall unpleasant. My dog was losing weight rapidly and looked terrible and we couldn’t figure out what was going on. She told me to feed my dog more food like he hasn’t been eating the same amount his whole life. She ragged and ragged on me abou
I took my older cat here around November 2024 because he hadn’t had a check up in years. I waited three hours to be seen. The reception was apologetic and even seemed embarrassed. I finally got a room after saying I was going to leave because my cat was getting very upset sitting in the crate that long. They put me in a room that was falling apart. The vet and her assistant came in weighed my cat, and told me he was fine. sent me on my way without even doing bloodwork. I went back 6-8months later and my cat had lost half his body weight. They did bloodwork and found that he had hyperthyroidism. I started him on the medication I was given and he was so weak I think it was just too much on his frail little body.. he passed November 2025 I did a lot of research on this and I believe if I w
Very friendly staff. Danielle, the physical therapist, is amazing. She is kind and fun with my dog and she is extremely knowledgeable in aspects beyond therapy.
Danielle does the physical therapy there and she has been amazing with my dog Molly, a 15 year old GSD suffering from mobility issues. We’ve been to 5 sessions and there is definitely improvement in her physical condition. My regular vet commented on it even.
