Ventura Pet Barn

Petco wouldn’t wash my dog cause she was a little bit too nervous so we took her to the Ventura Pet Barn on Main St which has a self washing area. It only cost $15 to get her washed . They provide an elevated tub , warm/hot water , shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a dryer. Loved it.

Love this place, they have a great selection on pet food as well as other pet supplies. Everyone there is really friendly. They also have a rewards program.

Small store but packed full of retail. Plenty of fun toys and supplies and very well organized. About 10 designated parking spaces in the lot behind the store. Only giving 4 stars bc the employees seemed grumpy. I’m from out of of town and didn’t realize the self service dog wash was by appointment when I walked in to ask about using the services. The older woman gave me the information but didn’t seem thrilled that she had to educate me. The 2 younger employees never said hello and just stared as I walked around the store looking at the retail.

Fantastic staff! Very helpful and engaging. The assortment of products is abundant. A must if you are looking for quality items for your pet. And they offer a military discount on certain items.

Great selection, great customer service and easy to browse and get in and out. Haven't tried any of the available services.
