VEG ER for Pets

I had a great experience here with my cat, Sherman. We were greeted immediately and brought to a room to ensure my Sherman felt comfortable. Juan was seriously the best! So friendly and helpful. You could tell he genuinely cared for Sherman and was looking out for his best interest. Mady F. was also a big help in assisting with Sherman's bloodwork and shots. Dr. White really made sure he was advocating for Sherman and what was actually best for him vs. jumping into the most expensive or extreme treatment method. It was a fairly quick visit for an ER trip less than 2 hours (maybe even closer to 1). The location was clean, all staff were friendly. I had to bring my French Bulldog into the emergency vet in the middle of the night due to what i thought kennel cough. As soon as i arrived the staff was so friendly and comforting. They were able to get my pup stable in the oxygen box and diagnose her with aspiration pneumonia. I was emotional and the staff was extremely supportive and supportive with not only my dog but me as well. Dr. Krage explained everything to me with what they were going to do and my opinions as well. She was so kind and understanding. Spending the rest of the night and entire next day there with my dog, the staff made sure both of us were comfortable. This is one of the best veterinary experiences I have ever had. All of the staff here are phenomenal, caring, and respectful. My dog Rufio is very high maintenance. He is reactive to other dogs, barks loudly at everything, and does not sit still for treatments. However, he is my special boy and I want the best care for him-he got that and more!! The staff were so understanding, patient, and accommodating, and they treated him like he was the greatest dog that ever came in for care. We were seen IMMEDIATELY and his treatment was thorough and prompt. Everyone kept approaching him to give him love and comfort, which gave me a lot of comfort as well. I have never written a review before for any business, but I must for this one. I brought my golden retriever, Hanna, in on Sunday because she was not herself. She ended up having an infection that required emergency surgery. Every single person we interacted with at this hospital was so kind, respectful, compassionate…I could go on and on. They kept me informed every step of the way and they took such good care of Hanna. Thank you does not feel like enough to truly express my gratitude. I will forever recommend this hospital. Hanna is home now and recovering very well. They saved my baby girl’s life. Thank you to every single person who helped Hanna. I will never forget it. Bonnie’s second trip to VEG and we cannot thank Dr. Rose, Dr. Carter, Juan and Teyahra enough for their above and beyond compassionate care in a stressful situation. We came in shaking and stressed and left with tail wagging and everything needed for a speedy recovery. My young kids had to come along, and not only was the process explained with care and detail, my interested son got to watch the process start to finish, which alleviated some anxiety about our pup’s treatment. Incredible, human and animal-centered care, fair pricing and quick assessment and action. We are so grateful.
