I’m finally getting around to writing this review, and I need to say my husband and I are SO thankful for Dr. Kim and all of the vet techs!! Our cat was straining in the litter box and looked visibly pained, he was lethargic and throwing up, and not being his normal self. We brought him to VEG and almost immediately Dr. Kim was able to tell it was a urinary obstruction, which we never would have guessed because he had never had issues with that prior to our visit. They were able to quickly remove the obstruction and drain his bladder completely. He had to stay hospitalized for a few days, but the staff was absolutely amazing and kindly let us stay there with our furbaby for as long as we wanted, even offering a pull-out bed if we wanted to sleep there. The entire staff was very kind and
Our precious Samir became lethargic, stopped eating/drinking, and muscular weakness. We brought him to VEG ER for Pets and he was seen immediately, and throughout his two-day stay he (and we) was treated with the utmost care and attention. Dr. Kim primarily led Samir's care, along with excellent medical team members (Nurse Grace on Tuesday, and his Monday nurse were both wonderful). Initially, it was thought to be an intestinal obstruction, however it may be Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a very worrisome diagnosis. Dr. Kim prescribed medication to start while we await the FIP results. Dr. Kim even talked with me on the phone the next day when I had a few concerns about Samir's state. Samir was lovingly cared for by everyone at the Emergency Dept, and I was treated so well too. The
I cannot say enough about how incredibly grateful I am for the team at VEG ER for Pets. The service we received during such a stressful emergency with my dog, Diesel, was beyond anything I could have hoped for. Every single person we encountered was compassionate, patient, and truly dedicated to helping him. I was especially thankful for the manager on duty that day. I was in a difficult financial position when this emergency happened, and somehow, some way, they worked with us and made sure we could figure something out so Diesel could be seen and cared for. That kind of understanding and humanity means everything in a moment of panic. They didn’t just treat my dog — they treated us with kindness, respect, and genuine care. I will always be thankful for what they did for us.
Never have a been to a vet clinic where staff act like they are afraid of a CAT and Ive been to many vets of 10 years. I waited over 2 hours and thats fine as this is an ER, however I felt rushed upon their return and the attendant acted afraid of my cat even though she doesnt bite and was relatively calm the visit. They couldnt even get a simple cone over her head because they didnt handle her properly. Isnt this something you do regularly???!!! I expressed displeasure and the attendant and front desk was unapologetic . Wont recommend. To add insult to injury the same nervous tech gave me the wrong size, a size for a dog carelessly. Response to owner: My cat behaved just fine and I didnt ask for anything free you couldve charged so not sure why you are mentioning that especially since y
I received the most compassionate and informed help I could've ever anticipated and I am so so grateful for all the staff at VEG ER for Pets! I have a very scared cat that does not like going to the vet, he was very reactive and didn't want to be touched. The staff were very understanding and made sure to give him his own waiting room and were very patient with him. Thank you to Dr. Miller and her entire team!
