Bailey was hospitalized for two nights, and this team took such incredible care of him. He is a very anxious dog, and they treated him with so much patience, gentleness, and understanding. They even shut the lights off to help make him more comfortable, which meant so much to us. You can truly tell this team loves what they do. Every single person we interacted with was compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in Bailey’s well being. They don’t just treat animals medically, they care for them emotionally too. The way they handled him, spoke about him, and adjusted his environment to ease his anxiety showed how deeply they care for each animal that walks through their doors. VEG of Greenwich is truly one of the best veterinary hospitals we’ve ever experienced. Our 14.5-year-old toy poodle had her first seizure, and we rushed her in immediately. From the moment we arrived, the doctors, nurses, and entire staff went above and beyond to make sure Coco received the urgent care she needed. They were fully transparent about costs, next steps, and what to expect after discharge. After running diagnostics, Coco was able to come home the same day—but when she had another seizure shortly after, we brought her right back. They took her in without hesitation and even allowed us to stay overnight if needed so we could monitor her closely. Dr Lindsey, nurse Danielle, and assistant Kat and the entire staff, including Amanda, at VEG were terrific! They treated our 7 month old Havanese, Bingo, who had a stomach infection over Thanksgiving, with such tender loving care and thoroughness that I knew that we were in good hands. They followed up a couple times afterwards to be sure Bingo was on the mend. I witnessed their care of numerous other pets while waiting and saw that they really provide excellent care for all their patients. Also, I really appreciate that you get to stay with your pets while they’re examining and treating him/her. I highly recommend that VEG!

The most unbelievable care for my baby, Meowtin Luther King. If you have a nurse named Amanda, your baby will be in the best care. Thank you Amanda for making sure I was okay when I refused to rest and leave his side. We also loved Nicole and AJ who helped stabilize him at his worst - they were all so genuine, personable, and loving. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, admin, and staff. We felt safe and cared for the entire time. We will recommend VEG to everyone we know. Being able to sit with him through it all was so precious to me.

Over the summer out of know where my dog became very ill and started to shut down. I called my Veterinarians office and they suggests I take my dog Carrie to VEG ER for pets, it was about a 5 minutes drive from my home. From the moment I walked in the Doctor and her team were all hands on deck. They did there best to help my dog. I did not have the full funds to cover the bill at the time, but was later approved for a loan option, which I would have been more than happy to pay to save my dogs life. My dog had a heart problem and it just caught up to her. The doctor pulled me aside she was very professional, and empathetic, and told me, that it's not about the money, even if I paid the highest option, it is unlikely that my dog would survive.
