2 years ago my dog Dottie had hemangiosarcoma cancer. VCA Norwalk did everything they could to save her and kept her comfortable until we couldn’t do anything more. I love VCA Norwalk and I’m grateful for them often. They really kept my dog the most comfortable in her final days. I also want to highlight Dr. Parks who took the most care of my girl and was extremely thorough and compassionate. Thank you VCA Norwalk I will always speak highly of you 🩷

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this VCA but am writing this review after my pug just saw Dr. Wilcox for the second time - he went out of his way to fit her in, is very thorough and has incredible bedside manner. Couldn’t recommend him enough for any pet eye needs. The vet tech Alex is also fantastic and just so warm and you know he loves his job and truly cares for your pet. Lastly, I also need to shout out Dr. Palmisano who operated on my other pug twice and successfully removed three cancerous mast cell tumors from my other pug, also couldn’t recommend him enough.

I run three busy veterinary practices in New York City and have been in the field for over 10 years. After recently moving to Norwalk, I had an emergency with my senior dog and needed care immediately. From the front desk staff to the technicians to the veterinarians, every single person was compassionate, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. A special thank you to Dr. Lascala, who was not only deeply empathetic but also incredibly skilled. I highly recommend this practice.

My partner and I brought Sammi, my 13-year-old cat, in on Friday the 13th because she hadn’t pooped in days, her stomach was bloated, she was peeing outside her litterbox, drinking water a lot, losing hair on her ears and her fur from a previous ultrasound wasn't growing back, and she’d been grinding her teeth while eating less and less. She’d previously been diagnosed with kidney disease and had gone from 14lbs to around 6 in just around a year. I was very worried, but trying to stay positive. The doctor (sorry, I’m terrible with names) gently explained to us while trying to keep herself composed that Sammi had fluid in her abdomen and large, cancerous tumors. A quick ultrasound confirmed it. I knew she was declining, but hearing this completely broke me. The staff was incredibly compas

This was such a negative experience for my dog and me. Over the years, I have been to a number of different Veterinary ERs, depending on where I lived, and never have I had one where we were so unattended to, and where I spent close to $3000, but waited for hours and hours to get an ultrasound, that ultimately proved to be in accurate. We had to get another ultrasound ten days later, at an internist, who found a huge problem in my dog’s small intestine, that had to be operated on. VCA told us that nothing was wrong on the ultrasound at all. Not only was I out the money after going to VCA, but I also had to watch my dog suffer for two weeks longer than was necessary. I would never go back here. Additionally, it seemed disorganized and chaotic, and it was just overall very unpleasant for bot
