VCA River City Animal Hospital

We recently brought our new mini schnauzer puppy to this vet clinic and had a great experience. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, the wait time was minimal, and the space was very clean. I especially appreciated that the exam room was sanitized before we went in since my puppy isn’t fully vaccinated yet. Dr. Heather and the vet assistants were wonderful to work with. They were patient, kind, and took the time to answer all of my questions (and there were a lot—I’m a worried new puppy mom!). I was also incredibly grateful that Dr. Heather took time on her day off over the weekend to text me about my puppy’s test results and answer questions that could have waited until Monday. I love River City Animal Hospital. The staff are always so kind, they've taken extremely good care of my sweet pup, the facility is clean, they worked with me scheduling a surgery, and even squeezed me in last minute when I was a day early for an appointment. We will continue to receive care here and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a place to take their pet.

I do not post reviews very often, but this pet hospital is so fantastic I had to let others know. After we got our St Bernard puppy, VCA River City was recommended to us as I have not been able to find a good vet in the Spokane area. I live south of Spokane, so this is quite a drive for me. From the moment I first walked in, I was amazed. It's a beautiful facility with a large waiting room so everyone's pets have their own space. What I noticed right away was how homey it was. The staff were over the top friendly and helpful and the doctor was amazing. They really do practice the newest medicine which I was pleased with. Their prices were average for medical pet care. Excellent Service with super friendly staff. Found out one of my cats has a tooth problem and I wasn't even aware. They gave me the info so I could understand. Continent location. Treated my cats with the upmost care. Great business. I highly recommend. It's one of tye best vets I've seen in a while. They truly care about our pets. I highly recommend this clinic.

I have had positive experiences each time I have come (about five times in the last year). The vet techs are very friendly and helpful, the vet we’ve worked with is so upbeat and kind, and they’ve worked with us to give us options so we know how to support our animals and how to think financially about any needs! We’ve come for shots and check-ups for our new puppy and our two cats. They also do a great job with reminders so we can stay on top of it. And scheduling has been so easy - I can always find a time that works for our schedules.
