Blake helped us train our shelter dog. We did use an ecollar to assist training (not a shock collar). Simple advice has been given to help correct behaviors we struggled with. Training support is exceptional. Blake's dog Hunter did a handstand and that was enough to convince my husband to try Sit Means Sit training. It is an investment and others might be cheaper but Sit Means Sit is worth it. It helped teach us and our furry friend to make us all happily coexist together, helping us understand and better communicate with each other. Thank you so much! Update: It’s been three months. The group and office training is amazing continued support. Nova has made such great progress and the addition classes have continued us to make great changes and follow through with continued training. Love
I have a fear-aggressive Dogo Argentino who is both people & dog-reactive. I never imagined I’d be able to manage him in public—yet here I am, thanks to Sit Means Sit Dog Training. To be honest, this is a powerful breed, and without the training, he wouldn’t have the freedom he has today. The Sit Means Sit method not only helped my dog learn how to behave and stay focused, but also built my confidence in managing him. Now, I can take my dog out in public with control and peace of mind—something I never thought would be possible. I’m so grateful for the Sit Means Sit team for helping us get to this point! I thought I loved my dog before, but after going through training my love and bond with him is even greater.
When we first got Duke, we knew we wanted to find a dog training program where we felt confident — and more importantly, one where Duke would be trained well. After researching our options, we chose Sit Means Sit, and now, two years later, we can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made for him. Not only did Duke receive excellent training that gave him structure, confidence, and clear communication — he also earned his Good Samaritan award, which we're incredibly proud of! What really sets Sit Means Sit apart is that it’s more than just training — it’s a community. The trainers truly care, the environment is supportive, and we’ve met so many other dog owners who are on the same journey. We’re grateful for everything Sit Means Sit has done for Duke (and for us as his owners)
Love our experience with this method of training. Our Labrador puppy (little Tasmania devil) has responded very quickly to Blake and Cheyenne’s instruction. Classes and “homework “ are very straightforward with help always just a call or text away. Love the group classes which also helps with socializing our puppy. We took advantage of an in-home class and Blake was more than happy to come over and assist us. The business also has fun events, such as a mock coffee shop. A local business coffee truck showed up with lots of seating and tables which provided a real world atmosphere for the training that day. Our experience has been money well spent.
BEST PURCHASE EVER! When I first started my dog was pulling, jumping and running away to the point I was crying every day because I was too stressed. Now, I take him everywhere with me. Whether it’s work or just an adventure with friends he is right beside me. Sit Means Sit helped me and my dog be able to enjoy life together and have fun learning new tricks. Something I love is that they meet you and your dog first to customize a program for you. They got to know my dog and his motivation and work with him and me so that we became a great team. Now, two years later he is happy as could be and I enjoy taking him with me without a worry. 1000% recommend training here.
