VCA North Country Animal Hospital

I don't usually write reviews but I just have to for this clinic. The last week of my cat Dude's life was spent being cared for by the absolute best veterinary specialists I could have asked for. I have to give the highest of thanks to Dr. Lu for his compassion and eagerness to address every question and concern I had all the way up until he performed the final euthanasia procedure. He clearly understood what Dude meant to me and worked diligently to create a treatment plan at the most affordable price point. Dr. Hill also assisted on short notice in creating a medication plan to keep my cat comfortable. I cannot say enough GREAT things about the environment and staff of VCA north country animal hospital. They have welcomed my littles with open arms and OPEN HEARTS. I always feel safe and like my pets are getting the very best care when they visit. Dr.Raah is phenomenal. She never hesitates to answer any questions or ease any anxiety. Very compassionate and down the earth. My girls always purr like crazy when she’s in the room. I cannot thank this facility enough for the endless worth and love they provide. My story started out with making a phone call to VCA first thing in the morning when they opened, breaking down emotionally about my lovable cat, Piper. I told her what's going on with my cat. The receptionist was very calm and so understanding with compassion. She had put me on hold for a quick min to talk to the tech to see if they can see her that day. Due to the symptoms that she was having, she was told by the tech to bring in Piper ASAP. I get there about an hour later (don't live close by) and as soon as we brought Piper in, the tech comes around the corner and approached my husband and I and asked if that was Piper. She takes her almost immediately and tells us that she is going to evaluate her and she will come get us when they were done evaluating her. (Thousand Islands Vet

We are highly satisfied with the care our pup received at VCA. The staff and Dr. Phillip Lu are extremely kind, knowledgeable, and patient. Our dog underwent a dental procedure and I was extremely anxious. After picking him up, he was back to his normal self extremely quickly. I am so so relieved he is okay and so grateful the staff took such good care of my baby. I have taken my rabbit to this vet as well in the past and they were always so gentle with him. I will also mention that, in the 4 years we’ve been here it’s been impossible to have our animals seen anywhere else before we discovered VCA. They almost always have availability within 1-2 weeks, anytime we’ve needed an appointment they are never booked out too far in advance. We highly recommend!

My counter surfer dog, Maggie Mae, ate 5 unbaked yeast cresent rolls. My regular clinic was closed (weather) so called VCA. Was told to bring her right out. Was treated. She is now fine.
