VCA Murphy Road Animal Hospital

The team at VCA made both me and my puppy "Panda" feel completely at ease. They are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely love what they do. Dr. Fields and Dr. Coats took the time to explain every step of the care plan, answering all my questions. The staff goes above and beyond at our follow-ups, tips for at-home care, and lots of love and attention for my little Panda bear. It's clear that this team truly treats every patient like family. If you're looking for a veterinary office that combines expertise, kindness, and exceptional care, this is it!

We adopted our dog, Ripley, from Love at First Sight in 2017 and had to go here as part of the adoption agreement. We didn't know what to expect but after our first visit we knew this was a great place. Dr. Widmann was our main doctor and she was always amazing to work with and really cared about our dogs. Occasionally, we'd see other doctors and they were always great too. With the high cost of veterinarian care these days, you can't beat the Care Club Plan. We had both our dogs on that and a couple of our cats. I highly recommend the VCA Murphy Road team. My family and I moved to Chicago in December and are currently looking for a primary vet. Whoever we end up choosing has some big shoes to fill!

This is an update to a previous review, after one bad experience Murphy VCA helped us in an emergency situation when our local vet could not. We got our fur baby from Love At First Sight and Murphy VCA has been a part of his life since the beginning. The doctors, veterinary assistants and management staff are all wonderful. I had one bad experience with front desk staff, but it does not take away from the 7 years of good experiences we have had with everyone else.

Outstanding staff! My pup may not like going to the vet but they always treat her like she is a part of their own family! She recently had to have a tooth removed and dental cleaning and the team was so amazing they were able to identify a second tooth that needed removal without a huge additional cost! Every time we visit, I know we will get expert care from people that genuinely care!
