My 8 year old English Springer Spaniel, Coco, started declining while on walks and when she wasn't active. Instead of being out front on leash she would be beside me or behind. Our walks would become slower and slower day by day. Coco would get her leash when I asked her to go for a walk which we did twice a day and went down to one a day. Next I noticed if she wasn't active she would lay down and would be sleeping within five minutes. She wasn't in the window watching people walk by or looking for me to come home. I would come in the door and she didn't even hear me. Sometimes I had to go to the couch and talk loud or poke her to get her attention: Eating and drinking never changed. I’ve never truly felt my animals being genuinely loved and cared for from a vet office before and it feels so good to have my pups feel like family and not like a paycheck. Babygoo is a nervous little thing and was so comfortable even while going through the discomfort of kidney failure. Thank you so much for helping us figure out the best option for our baby and teaching us everything we need to know about care at home. I would highly recommend VCA on Knapp’s Corner to anyone needing a vet. We could not get our dog , Benji, into his normal vet and tried multiple other emergency places. Dr Wahl and her team got us in immediately. They were so kind, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Benji has extreme anxiety, but warmed up to them right away. They took the time and effort to make him feel safe. We are beyond thankful for their care.

The new VCA Knapp’s Corner is a wonderful new veterinarian hospital purpose designed for the wellness and sophisticated care of pets, as well as the comfort of their people. Dr. Kathryn Ambrose and her staff welcomed us into the clinic, gave us a calming blanket for our kitten, and took us right to an exam room. Every part of the visit was five star: Excellent care, a thorough description of treatments and their purpose, and a clear, up-front explanation of costs with an explicit request for consent to treatment—what more could you ask for? Dr. Ambrose has been the veterinarian for our beloved cats for years at a different VCA location, and we could not be more pleased at the amount of time and care she puts into her work. I contacted the VCA at Knapp’s Corner, and they were able to schedule an appointment for my dog right away. The overall experience was excellent. The staff was incredibly patient, addressing all of my questions and concerns thoroughly. They genuinely took the time to get to know my dog and understand her needs. Since she is naturally anxious, the staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a vet for their fur baby.
