I took my dog to the VCA yesterday because he was in a lot of pain and hadn’t eaten or drunk anything for over 24 hours. It turned out that his paw was broken. Dr. Leepson and his nurse, Tone, did an amazing job taking care of him. Dr. Leepson is very professional and incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve been to many vets before, but none examined my dog as thoroughly as he did. The entire staff was also so kind and compassionate, which made a big difference during such a stressful time. I truly appreciate everything they did. Just one hour after we came home, my dog started eating and even running around again! I’m so grateful for their excellent care and dedication.

I am not sure how many years ago we started bringing our cats, and now new kittens, to VCA in Haymarket but it was the best decision we could have made. We started with three (3) cats, two of which were older and had developed some health issues in their late years. There was never a question as to whether they were receiving the proper care or not with the wonderful staff that works at VCA. They worked tirelessly with us to help our two older cats live out their best lives possible. When our sweet boy got sick, they helped transition us to an internal medicine doctor to help him, which ultimately helped him to live several more months with us before we had to say goodbye Now in addition to the one loving cat we had left we have over the past 3 years added four more, including two kitten

We have been a part of the VCA HealthyPaws for over a decade. I can, without hesitation, recommend the doctors AND the techs and staff. They truly care the animals they come into contact with and that’s apparent from the moment you walk in. However, they care about the dog parents too. The care and compassion they have given us throughout our dogs lifetime has been so special. We lost our last fur baby a year ago this month. We hadn’t left the emergency vet when we began receiving the most thoughtful and loving condolences from the doctors and staff.
