I’ve been taking my 6-year-old pitbull, Dojo, to Dr. Betts for almost two years now, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. When I moved from Virginia, I was devastated to leave the vet Dojo had seen his entire life… but finding Dr. Betts has been the biggest relief. We absolutely love her. She has removed mast cell tumors from Dojo, managed his severe allergies, helped us trial anxiety medications, and is now preparing to remove another mass and complete his dental cleaning. Through every single visit, she has gone above and beyond. What stands out most is how thorough and intentional she is. All of our dogs for the past twenty or so years have been going to this hospital and I have always experienced the professionalism, compassion, and skilled training of all the staff from the front desk to the doctors. In April I had to let go of my beloved Pepper. It was one of the absolutely worst days of my life. The staff didn’t rush us and treated Pepper and my family with dignity and respect. On a recent visit with another pet, the staff remembered Pepper and recalled her personality quite well in our conversation. It brought a smile to my face knowing that they remembered her.

We went in for a walk-in appointment in the afternoon and things were slow so they got our dog in very quickly. The vet met with us quickly and spent a lot of time checking our dog out, then gave him medication immediately as well as some prescriptions. These people work under a lot of pressure so I was grateful that they took the time to explain everything and listen to my concerns.
