Dr. Doug Allen has been an exceptional veterinarian for our family including the care of 6 dogs to date.   He is extremely knowledgeable and consistently takes a genuine, personal interest in our dog’s health and our concerns. His guidance is always clear, thoughtful, and rooted in deep expertise, which has given us complete confidence in the care he provides. I adopted my puppy in April 2024 and The Humane Society of Golden Valley recommended this place. So far they have been great. I've been able to schedule appointments on a timely basis. The staff has been very professional and educational to me and my puppy Polar Bear. They are always excited to see Polar Bear and from my experiences so far... they have his best interest at heart. If you are having a difficult time getting into your current vet, I'd definitely recommend this place for sure!

I really like this vet office, the staff have always been very kind, and they are also very affordable compared to most vets and up front about costs. I love how they usually offer a new patient discount as well, it has made it so that I was even able to get my kitty care, as I wouldn't have had enough for such an unexpected expense otherwise, so thank you.

Dr. Allen and the rest of the staff were incredible with my cat. My cat took a fall, I called and they were able to get me in to be seen within the hour. My cat is normally very apprehensive around males and he did great with Dr. Allen. every staff member i talked to was helpful, knowledgeable, and reassuring that my sweet boy would be okay. VCA is affordable, clean, and calming. will definitely be using them for regular vet care.

I brought my new kitten here for a follow up and loved it! A previous vet told me that they were not concerned, but kitty was having some tummy issues and I wanted to get a second opinion. They got me in same day, did thorough testing, and were so so sweet to my cat. Dr. Toenies listened to all of my questions and concerns without dismissing any. She gave me options and suggestions. 24 hours later my cat is already feeling better after days of stomach issues. I would highly recommend and had a great experience. I feel that I reach out or visit with concerns in the future and would have great support.
