VCA Briargate Veterinary Clinic

My family & I have been loyal clients for over ten years. During this time, our cat, Dexter, has been treated and monitored for epilepsy by pretty much every DVM here. Upon his most recent bloodwork, we had to make the decision to switch his anti-seizure medication. We chose to stay with liquid form as it is what he does best on. Despite this, we found he has been unable to keep his medication down due to the sheer volume of how much has to be pushed via oral syringe. We have had our concerns about his sensitivity to the new medication dismissed and brushed off by every staff member we have spoken to. Whoever answered my father’s call at 7:52am on Friday, March 6, 2026, failed to chart that he formally requested his medication be compounded into a pill form. So, this information NEVER go

Spoke to Meg on the phone the other day to inquire about what types of animal care VCA provides, as i am a first time pet owner looking into what my options are for regular check ups. She was incredibly knowledgable, kind, and patient with me, and was able to answer all of my questions. Meg is super awesome.

I’ve been a customer of this Vet for a long time. I got an estimate to have my dogs teeth, cleaned about two weeks ago. I agreed to the price and set up the appointment. The night before the appointment they sent me an estimate which I assumed was the same, and they had added money to it, and said I had to sign it before they could do the dental on him.. I was filling it out and I just happen to look at the total and it was quite a bit more than the first estimate they gave me. I called and inquired what had happened and they said they added a extraction and they didn’t think my dog needed it but they put it in there just in case you needed it. Now I’ve been going here for a long time and I’ve had several dogs have dentals here and no one’s ever put in an extraction in the estimate wh

We love the staff here, regardless of who we see, they treat our little girl so well. The girls who are on staff Saturday mornings are THE BEST and make us feel so welcome that Miss M doesn't ever fear going to the vet. We appreciate that the various vets we've seen are up front about what we need and what we don't.

They would not see my sick dog because I was 5 min late. So much for caring for sick animals. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will look for a place that will put sick animals first. Shame on them! February 3, 2026 I took my dog Gracie to City Vet in Briargate at 7:00a.m. I didn't have an appointment but they welcomed Gracie and I with a high level of concern and compassion. The staff got to work on Gracie the minute we walked in. My Gracie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer as she continued to decline. VCA COULD NOT BE BOTHERED WITH SEEING US. City Vet expressed compassion as I made the decision to euthanize Gracie. Thank you City Vet for taking care of Gracie!
