VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast

After attempting to visit 3 other animal emergency hospitals, we found VCA Southeast to treat our cat. From the moment, we walked through the doors, we were treated with kindness and empathy. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Brannon and her team. She took the time to explain what her recommendations for treatment were and how she would go about it. Any visit to an emergency animal hospital will have high costs, but Dr. Brannon assured us she was going to take top notch care of our cat. Dr. Brannon followed up with texts and phone calls to make sure our cat was ok. Thank you Dr. Brannon and your team for providing excellent care!

We first took our cat Luna to Richey animal clinic and the vet took a look at her for about 2 minutes and confirmed she had a fever 106.1 and physical exam went well. Gave her two injections and sent us away, he did Inforn us that if she is still not eating or drinking, lethargic, sleeping for hours and unstable to walk to bring her back. 2 days later no change Luna looked even worse. We headed to VCA emergency and right away they took her in, asked every question, quick to act and provide us with all the information of current illnesses going around. We were told she had feline parvo, Luna did not have all her vaccinations s at the time yes that is our fault. They explained everything that could have happened and the survival rate for the disease that has no cure. We were so afraid to

We took our dog in after a scary situation, and I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, calm, and reassuring. The vet took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of our questions. Our dog is already doing great today, which speaks volumes about the quality of care he received. It’s a little pricey for sure but very much worth it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares about both pets and their people.

I’ve taken multiple pets here. One for a c-section in 2019, one for a dog-on-dog attack 2022 and just recently for a foreign object. Dr. Brannon was very compassionate towards our situation, we had gone to another vet and wasted 5 hours for them to tell us they had no sonographer on call for the weekend, so here we go to VCA at 2 in the morning. She attempted a basic ultrasound and gave us recommendations for a detailed ultrasound. My Pepper girl was going onto day 3 with no appetite and other vets were treating her symptoms and not the source. Thankfully she started eating with the staff and Dr. Brannon gave us realistic options on when to come back or let her feel better. Took my doberman in tonight due to not eating, frequent urination, and unexplained weakness in hind legs. He was scared and clingy with me. Of course he had never been there and everyone was a stranger. I disagreed and questioned "Why" when the tech informed us they would be taking him to the back, away from us, for his exam and diagnostics. First, she claimed the dogs get protective of their owners so they take them away to the back and "see a more docile side". When I disagreed with that explanation, she said "because thats how we do it and the doctor would have to stop what she is doing to come to the room to see him.
