Kontota of Central Houston - Mobile Dog Grooming

I can’t recommend Callie and Kontota grooming enough! We have three very bouncy English Springer Spaniels (Abbey, Penny, and Poppy) and finding a groomer who can handle their energy, thick coats, and endless tail-wagging is no easy task. Callie is a miracle worker. She always nails the classic Springer cut — beautiful feathering, clean feet, and those long ears look perfect every time. What really sets her apart is how calm and happy our dogs are with her. They used to be nervous at grooming appointments, but now they run to the door because they love Callie so much. She’s also super accommodating with scheduling. If you have sporting breeds (or any breed, honestly), ask for Callie — you won’t be sorry!

Kontota was recommended to me by a close friend and they did not disappoint! Alejandro groomed my golden doodle, Remi, and I am more than pleased! First, it was very easy to schedule the appointment and they kept in touch with me giving me an ETA and they were on time. Alejandro was very kind to both me and Remi. He took the time to let Remi get to know him and get comfortable before he started grooming. He listened to me and what I was looking for in a groom and he also updated me during the groom. Remi came out happy and looking so good!! The price was also very reasonable. I was very impressed with the groom and just the overall experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and will definitely be using them again!

I had not gotten my pup professionally groomed in about 4 years after a bad experience with a previous groomer. I did my research, read lots of reviews and decided on Kontota and I’m so glad I did. I was able to get an estimate right away and booked an appointment. I was nervous but upon meeting Jonathon his energy made me feel at ease. He sent me updates in the middle of the service and explained everything when the service was over. Jonathon did an amazing job with Nico, he looks so handsome. I will definitely be using their service again.

This was our first time using a dog groomer and it was great! It was incredibly easy to request an estimate, talk through different options with them, and schedule an appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day. Jonathan arrived on time, was friendly, and very communicative before, during, and after the dog grooming process, including sending us photos of our dogs mid-clean! I originally planned for this to be a one-off cleaning, but after such an incredible experience with Kontota, I plan to be a regular customer. Can’t recommend them enough!

Callie was amazing! It was our princess’ first time getting groomed and I was really nervous, however, she made us feel really comfortable from the beginning. Coco loved her, and we love how beautiful she looks! Thanks, guys!
