We recently had to bring our girl, Betsie, to the emergency clinic, and I can’t say enough good things about the care she received. The staff was kind, calm, and very patient with her (and she’s not always the easiest patient!). They called my name right away, explained everything clearly, and took such gentle care of her. They were informative, efficient, and got us in and out as quickly as they could while still giving her the attention she needed. I’m so grateful for their compassion and professionalism — they truly helped ease a stressful situation.
Pet owners be aware! On 10/25 my husband took Dorothy to this urgent care clinic. Dorothy was seen by Dr. Alice Stewart Wyatt. My husband told Dr Stewart Wyatt of her past situation which involved ingestion of a foreign object, vomiting, and general illness. An X-ray was requested but denied stating that “a lot of pets” are sick with similar symptoms. Dr Stewart Wyatt prescribed MetroNidazole and totally misdiagnosed. Dorothy had an “intussusception” and almost died. Dorothy and my husband traveled 4 hours to NW Indiana. Dorothy had emergency surgery. This is repulsive!
We pulled up to VCA All Pet Emergency Center on Friday night at 6pm the day after Thanksgiving with our 8 month old puppy Ember. She was in bad shape and our family was in deep despair not knowing if our puppy would survive the night. Sara, Lauren S. and the VCA Manager all jumped right in and helped our puppy and saved her life. They made my kids and I have hope and assured us each step of the way. I am so grateful for each of them and we are happy to report that Ember is doing much better. Thank you to the staff and doctors for the amazing support, encouragement and love during that trying time in our life. Peace and blessing to you all. Kind regards and the utmost respect for what you do each day. - From Our family to yours
We drove nearly an hour to what is supposed to be an emergency vet, only to spend seven hours there, including two hours sitting in the waiting room before our dogs were even taken back. Dr. Marshall was dismissive, cold, and outright rude. Any time we asked for help or clarification, we were met with “I can’t tell you what to do,” and she raised her voice when we asked questions again—questions asked because we were scared, confused, and trying to advocate for our dogs. She didn’t even have the decency to come back and explain our dogs’ diagnoses herself. Instead, she sent in a veterinary technician to deliver the news and go over billing, which speaks volumes about her lack of professionalism and empathy. The only positive part of this visit was our VT, Miranda, who was compassionate, pa
Our male kitty was lethargic and having mobility issues late at night, so we took him in. They saw him right away and started emergency surgery as soon as they could for urinary blockage. They kept us very well updated. Every single staff we encountered were so well educated and compassionate. They were the calm presence in a stressful situation. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Marshall and her team’s care for our kitty. Urinary blockages are deadly, and they were able to get our baby unblocked. The prices are expensive starting at $200 for the exam plus anything else. However, they recommended everything they could offer to help the financial burden. Dr. Marshall transferred us to a different animal hospital for his recovery that is cheaper than recovering at APEC. We are so gra
