Val's Pet Supplies

I love Val’s Pet Supplies. The staff there is very friendly, and I love being able to find everything I need for my wild bird feeders and my dog at a small business instead of going to a big box store – keeping my money local. What’s even better is that Val’s prices are lower than even the discounted delivery prices from Petco and Costco. That’s a win-win The only product I wish they carried is Dasuquin, which is the joint supplement my dog takes. Once they start selling that, I’ll be able to get absolutely all of my animal supplies there.

Old fashioned, friendly service that you probably won't find at the large chain stores. The selection is great and the prices are good, often better than the other pet supply stores and warehouse clubs. Pets are welcome. If you have a question, the staff is helpful and willing to offer recommendations. It's unfortunate that the store on Livernois in Troy closed several years ago and still sits empty.

Went to store today, no bird food, service was horrible. Older woman pretty much ignored us and older man kept saying she'll take of you as younger woman walked away and said I'm going on break. Not friendly as is waiver in past and store had no other staff around

Don’t support this business. They say the love animals but they use Ai in there signs. How do you say you love animals and then use something that hurts the environment. Completely disgusting

This place is awesome!! Great prices, lots of variety, friendly and helpful staff. I have a Staffordshire who is allergic to most proteins. She can't ever have any treats because of it. They had fish based treats for her (herring). Lots of choices for kibble and everything t under the sun for non canine and feline pets top.
