Georgia and Dr. Temples were who we worked with when we had to put my MIL dog down. He was bad off and old and it was unfortunately time. The receptionist was so kind and immediately asked if we needed to get him inside and more comfortable and I was floored and said yes please. She came out and scooped him up like a baby and cuddled him and took him to the back to start some oxygen and get some pain relief going. They also got him cleaned up some since he had made a mess from the time we had left the house to getting there. They got the general info and deposit and then moved us to a room off to the side so we could answer questions, understand options, and so we could ask questions. They got him cleaned up, examined him, and bundled him in a dog bed and his blanket. My MIL got to hold hi
We have gone twice for emergency care and both times were quickly seen and diagnosed. Most recently, our LGD was bit by a rattlesnake and they worked diligently and saved his life. From the beginning, everything including prognosis, treatment, and cost was explained up front. The staff have all been caring and friendly. Vet emergencies are stressful, but this is about as good of an experience you can have. We are grateful to the doctors, vet techs, and office staff for their great care of our animals!
We brought our female Boston Terrier to this clinic for an emergency c-section. Their service was top notch from initial telephone contact to discharge. Our girl was in labor for several hours and had presented a sac only. We arrived at 3:30 a.m. They worked her up and had completed the surgery within 3 hours. Kudos to Meghan and Dr. Hall for great communication and attitude. Both puppies did well and our girl is also doing great! Highly recommend this clinic.
First off, we did not see Matthew Randolph as told over the phone. The female veterinarian who we did see was judgmental because our kitten was stressed out from riding in the carrier. What cat is not stressed out riding in a carrier? Anyways, turns out he was a little chunky, which she was angry about. She then said she was going to put together an estimate for the neuter of our kitten and then left. A tech walked in with the estimate for the procedure, and when I had questions it was the tech who answered them, not the veterinarian. I felt a little lost because they quoted 2 prices, one of which was $619 and the other was $756 for a basic neuter! They then told me I needed to schedule the surgery and basically shoved me out the door. I called around to other vet hospitals, and they said
I’m leaving this review based on my dog Gitmo’s ER visit at Valdosta Veterinary Associates on 01/04/2026. As a working dog handler, I understand stressed dogs, restraint, and what normal discomfort looks like. What I experienced here raised serious concern. My dog was taken away from me for what I estimate to be close to two hours. During that time I could clearly hear him whining loudly and becoming vocally distressed, which is not normal for him. I also heard staff yelling at him and repeatedly commanding him to stop. The veterinarian later complained he “wouldn’t sit still,” for imaging, which does not inspire confidence in how a large dog was being restrained/positioned for imaging. When a tech later entered to take him for subcutaneous fluids, my dog barked immediately. She made a
