During Hurricane Helene our senior dog was suffering. She was 6 months into a cancer diagnosis with a tumor in her lung. We were on day 13 without power - no air, no water (well), & hot humid - struggling badly - while our furbaby, Honey was struggling the most - to just breathe. She was gasping to breath, & we knew it was time —to help her not suffer anymore. Dr Purvis came to our home & with much grace, kindness, & professionalism, she (& her husband) sat in our front yard (because there was no light or air inside our home) & slowly helped Honey cross over the bridge into her peaceful resting place. A blessing to find Dr. Graham & his wonderful staff…. Exactly what we were looking for… personal attention, competent care, without all the unnecessary add-ons to run up our bill. Prices went up, and convenience went down. The first time I went there with my cat 2 years ago I paid about $50 for a checkup and a vaccine. It was a while later until I realized that my cat’s physical exam didn’t include a look at his teeth. Most vets take a quick look in your cat’s mouth but they didn’t, so they completely missed his gingivitis and possible stomatitis that my new veterinarian has now pointed out. On top of this, I recently found out their price for checkup alone is now $80. The price for their blood work was also very expensive, and other vets in town offered Bloodwork for cheaper. With how expensive vetrinary work is these days, I thought to ask if I could provide my cats blood work results to them from another establishment, so they could have results they need to go t
