We took our pitbull Nacho Dog after another dog jumped a fence and bit him. It was stressful since he was with the dog walker at the time so we weren’t sure where all of his injuries were and how deep they went. They took their time making sure he was comfortable with them checking him over since he was still very stressed/nervous, and he warmed up to them right away. Honestly it was nice to hear all the techs cooing over him, he for sure thinks he’s a lady’s man now lol. They kept him relaxed, found and cleaned all of his injuries, shaved the area so it was easier to monitor, etc. I think most places would have just sedated a dog instead of taking their time to make a dog comfortable after it was attacked, so we really appreciated that. Best care I’ve received from an emergency vet. After having to take our dog into the vet in the morning for a cracked nail, she ended up eating the bandage off her paw later in the day after our vet closed. We went to UrgentVet and were seen immediately. They quickly took her back to induce vomiting and the Doctor was in very soon after to show me she threw it all up plus gave great after care instructions - Dr. Okroj was excellent, can’t say enough about how impressed I was with her. We were in and out quickly, charge was close to what I expected and all of the staff was friendly and kind to our pup. Eleanor woke up this morning with symptoms of a UTI. Our vet could not see her until Monday. We called the ER and they recommended UrgentVet. We went online to schedule a time and we were greeted immediately and put in to a private room. Molly, the vet assistant was wonderful Dr Okroj was great! They were very gentle and kind with Eleanor After a thorough exam Eleanor was given antibiotics for her infection she was also given 2 tennis balls for being such a good pup! I had to bring my 5-month old puppy here last night at about 8pm. I was met with nothing but care and kindness the rest of the evening. There were two emergencies they were taking care of so I did let them know to take their time so I was there about 2.5-3 hours. (My pup was showing some odd behavior and not being herself, but I did not think her situation was dire or life threatening.) They told me to knock on the door if something changed. They ran a drug test and did some bloodwork. Gave her anti nausea and fluids.
