Upon check in with help from Rhonda we were greeted with a calm Beautiful smile and shown to a room for our cat Smokey . Next we were attended by Merrylin and Dr Kristin Serrano , who took such good care of our kitty . They listened and explained every step and tests they thought would be necessary to give us the answers needed to help our 😻. They went over the costs in detail and upon our consent and agreement performed the needed tests on site and took care of our sweet senior cat . Smokey was so calm and relaxed throughout our visit and process . We were so appreciative of the time they took with us and their caring patience and gentle care of Smokey. I brought my Chihuahua, Roxy, in on Christmas Eve after she had a bad choking incident that quickly became even more complicated. I was seen immediately, the facility is large and clean, no pet smell. The staff was all very kind and friendly even on a holiday. Dr Helmer listened, asked a lot of questions and took her time deciding on a plan of action. They explained what they wanted to do and what the cost would be, and I had the option of declining anything or doing some tests and not others. No high pressure. My dog feels better thankfully and I'm glad to know that there's a pet Urgent Care available. I'd recommend them to any one.

I had to bring my dog Harper in for an urgent visit, and I cannot say enough great things about this team. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Harper can be a bit anxious at first in new environments, but she showed zero signs of stress with this group, which really speaks to how kind and patient they were with her. The facility was also very clean and well maintained. Both the doctor and the assistant were extremely informative and took the time to explain everything to me in detail, which I really appreciated. I’m very thankful for the care Harper received and for how well they treated both of us during the visit. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for compassionate and professional veterinary care.

I cannot say enough good things about UrgentVet Ballantyne. Late one evening around 9:45pm, my dog had been pacing and panting for a couple of hours and my primary vet was already closed. The closest option still open (until 11pm) was UrgentVet Ballantyne. I always hate taking my dogs to a new vet, especially in a stressful situation, but they completely exceeded my expectations. They were able to see us immediately, took the time to really understand what was going on, and clearly explained our options. After talking it through, I chose to follow the vet’s recommendation for fluids and a shot to help with her discomfort. Within an hour, she was finally resting peacefully. Darius and Dr Helmer were amazing!!!! They got me in quickly and found the problem for my little Cheddar. Got his meds and have him fixed up and resting comfortably at home. I appreciate all their help and the compassion they showed my little old man🥰
