Upward Hound Dog Training

I was given a list of dog trainers from my vet when my puppy was having difficulties at his vet visits. I'm so thankful that Upward Hound was on that list and was the first one I called. We started puppy kindergarten a few weeks later. It was amazing! It was the beginning of a life changing journey for Diesel (my pup). Casey and her team are wonderful with my dog and the other dogs in class, too. They really have an understanding of what dogs need. They are so patient and kind with Diesel. He has a lot of anxiety and is very fearful of noises and movements and people. We have made a lot of progress with Upward Hound. Our dog is not a fan of people he doesn't know (he bit our current vet the first time we went there). Lilly is an amazingly patient groomer and is so in tune with his body language that she's able to trim his fur and dremel his claws with no complaints from Coda. That's saying something!

We took our dog Scout for beginners class and it was great. We learned alot for us as owners as well as our dog. Instructors were great- lots of good examples and explanations. We plan to go back for agility classes soon. Would recommend Upward Hound to everyone

I have a dog that DID NOT like her nails done. Upward Hound was able to take my fearful dog and get her to have her nails trimmed in 8 weeks by positive reinforcement training and now cand get her nails done. I won't use anyone but Lilly to do her nails now because hands down she is the best.
