Unleashed by Petco

Disappointed and Invisible I walked in hoping to get help finding something for my puppy’s upset tummy, but the experience was anything but welcoming. I watched three employees moving around, one assisting at the register, another floating between aisles, and a third greeting guests as they entered. Not once was I acknowledged. I stood patiently in line, waiting for a chance to ask for help. While I waited, two other customers walked in and were immediately assisted, skipping right past me as if I didn’t exist. I felt like a ghost in plain sight. When I finally said “excuse me,” another guest entered and went straight to the counter. The staff member turned away from me mid-sentence to greet them and ask if they were there for pickup. That was the last of my patiences. walked out, frus

Writing this as an FYI to other customers since I did not see this posted anywhere at the location when I’d been in before or on their website— the last bath “closes at 5:30pm.” I got there tonight and they were mopping down the area. When informed, I asked where the info is posted or how people are supposed to know and the woman said she doesn’t make the rules. Totally fair, that’s true but I really wasn’t asking about changing the rules, I was just trying to understand how customers are supposed to know. I hope someone might take this feedback to make it much more clear so that others do not make the mistake I did arriving, seeing a store that is open until 7pm and arriving at 5:50pm. We bring our Husky here for baths. The provided equipment works great and we always leave the place a mess and no one's ever made a stink about it. It beats the hell out of washing your dog at home and is a great price.

This is my favorite Petco/unleashed. every staff member is so professional and helpful. The store is always well stocked and at checkout the clerk always asked me if I need any help with my rewards, etc.. The other Petco in Santa Monica on Wilshire never help me out and their food just for dogs is always either out or in the wrong labeled area so you pick up the wrong food Or leave without it

Update after four years: Still the same helpful, low-key place, where somehow the pets there being groomed or "shopping" cannot help but make the rest of your day or evening happy. Helpful, professional staff; good product selection with specials. Free, small parking lot out front. Regular, monitored adoptions. Super friendly vibe.
