Customer Reviews
I was dog sitting and this dog came back from the doggy hotel smelling so bad like urine. I took him here and did the self wash. $20. They provided everything you could need- big apron, towels, brushes, shampoo, blow dryer. It was my first time washing a dog like this and it was fun! The people working there were nice and explained everything. It is walk in only so I called ahead to see if there was a long line/ wait and they said there is not a long wait now. The only thing is I didn’t hook up his leash properly and he tried to jump out once but I figured it out after that and then it was all good. Dog smelled amazing afterwards! So clean and fluffy! They have different shampoos for different breed needs. The dryer was powerful but not hot, it was like barely warm so it took a while to dr
I’ve been meaning to post a review for a while, and today’s exceptional grooming reminded me. My mini Aussie, Kiwi, and I have been customers for a little over a year now, and we’ve left happy every visit. It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE finding a groomer that specializes in longer and double coated dogs. Tons of very expensive Westside options that generally service doodles (shave, repeat, etc), but few that are absolute pros with scissors. Eduardo is a master! Listens to all your requests, and makes your dog feel at ease. I highly recommend booking with him if you have an Aussie, Golden Retriever, Border Collie, or any dog with delicate fur or coat. Great staff, tons of parking, reasonable pricing, and an absolute gem, even if you’re a self-wash person.
We can’t say enough good things about Dogromat. From start to finish the experience is always great and the staff is always incredibly kind and patient. They take their time with our dog, who can be a little nervous and have taken care of him/us countless times. -They recently fit us in on short notice during a cancellation. -They were extremely understanding when I ridiculously forgot about our appointment on another occasion. They also have a bunch of little extras that make Dogromat stand out, they have a great assortment of treats. The facility is super clean and well-equipped self-wash area that’s perfect for in-between grooming sessions. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they work with, and it shows in every detail. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer who treat
I did the self wash for my medium sized GSD husky. I came after 3:30 when they typically stop allowing dog washes and they still let us in. Their facility was nice but this is where my compliments stop. Their soap was very watered-down. We washed the dog twice and she was still smelly. The bottle was only half full and we used the whole thing. The guy didn't give us towels to dry the dog and took his time with other customers while I stood there and our dog was cold. For $35 and to leave with a dog that still smelled wasn't a good experience. I cant say I recommend this place.
Edit 01/23/22: we went to the new location on Lincoln Blvd today. It’s beautiful and spacious. And the individual enclosed bath stalls are still there, which one if the reason we go to the Dogromat. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Congratulations on the new location! I’ve only used the self-wash, but everything has always been great. They have shampoo options to choose from, plenty of large, soft towels, a wash cloth. I love the individual fenced areas. My dog is not a fan of baths so even if she manages to jump out, she’ll be contained. But I’ve received a text this week they were moving to Lincoln blvd. not very convenient but we’ll give it a try.
