University Animal Clinic

I have been going to Dr. Sam (who sees exotics) and Dr. Velic for 6 yrs now. I can’t say enough great things about them. The level of preventative care, knowledge, patience and expertise they have provided my dogs w/ is unmatched. Dr. Velic caught two chronic health conditions on my Dutch Shepherd, which led to a prompt treatment plans to slow progression. Dr. Velic has been there every step of the way as my dogs become seniors. The staff are also incredible! Brooke and Suzanne are always so warm and friendly when you walk in and promptly pass messages on to the doctors. Ray and Susan are a wealth of knowledge, detail orientated and all my dogs adore them. My dogs actually love going to the vet! Thank you so much Dr. Sam, Dr. Velic and all the UAC staff for all you do for pets!

I had a wonderful experience with University Animal Clinic. Every staff member was incredibly kind and treated my cat with so much care. They were thorough, transparent, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel completely comfortable leaving my cat in their hands. This is the only vet I’ve been to that has felt this welcoming and reassuring. Highly recommend!

My French Bulldog had a cancerous mass in a very challenging location. I wasn’t in a position to pursue a specialist, but this incredible team stepped up and took on her case with such care and intention. They thoughtfully prepared for her procedure and treated her like their own. I’m beyond grateful to say everything went beautifully. I cannot thank this team enough for working together to help extend her time with me a little longer. Their skill, compassion, and dedication truly mean the world to us.

I just wanna start up by saying thank you to the most amazing staff at the university animal clinic. I’ve had two dogs for the past 4 to 5 years. I had Butch that was six years old. I had Astro that was four years old this beautiful team at university animal clinic took amazing care of my both boys. I am so grateful to find this vet. they are like family to me. They will forever be my family. Sadly my boys did both passed but I will always remember this amazing clinic for helping my babies and making them happy n taken care of. Thank you to the drs and the girls up front and to the amazing Susan with her beautiful smile and her amazing personality we became like family this whole team. ***UPDATE***After posting this review, the clinic owner reached out to me personally with a thoughtful message acknowledging my concerns and expressing a sincere desire to listen. I appreciated that outreach. Pet owners deserve transparency, empathy, and professionalism when entrusting their animals to a clinic, and unfortunately that was not my experience yesterday. Following my review posted yesterday: The clinic manager, Stephanie, called today regarding my review and left a message. Encouraged by the initiative, I returned her call. Unfortunately, the conversation did not address my concerns. Instead, Stephanie was focused solely on disputing my experience. “We video and audio tape all visits.” Great, I thought.
