Ukiah Veterinary Hospital

I live quite far from any vets and was originally taking my dog to a different vet. Not seeing any progress and getting frustrated I tried this vet in ukiah nearly 1h40minutes from me. The staff is great and the male nurse(?) Was very great with my dog. You can tell they like animals. I took my dog every week about 6 times to put medicine in her ears. I feel the price was fair and they handled my large, not entirely friendly dog well. Overall I am glad I came here. My dogs ear infection seems to have really gone away. If I need to go in the future i will return here. Prices were fair.

I took my dog to get treated for flea allergy, and they did great on him overall, the pricing was also pretty cheap compared to others, but the staff who works front desk is not very nice, she is annoyed by questions, she has an attitude, it’s not very professional.

We were able to get in for vet appointments when needed. Staff are all kind and cordial. Dr. Haynes is great with our pup!

They got my cat in right away as soon as I called and said he wasn't doing well (he ended up being constipated). Dr. Haynes was very thorough on what he plans to do and kept me updated throughout the day since I had to leave my cat there for the day. When I picked up my cat, Dr. Hayes gave me a run through on everything they did and gave tips on how to prevent this from happening again. The staff called the next day and the day after to see if my cat was doing well. Very kind and caring! Totally recommend.

Excellent standard of care. With compassion and clarity, Dr. Haynes always provides the scientific and veterinary details, reviews microbiology and radiography and included me in what, why, when with practical, compassionate solutions. Very important to me, his stellar knowledge & expertise gives me confidence and trust. The entire staff demonstrate incredible teamwork physically (big dog) and sense of urgency (big decisions), kindness & accommodation more than once. Jessica juggles a lot at the desk yet rises to the occasion. Todd in the back a good teacher to his team and accomplished Vet Tech.....TEN stars for UVH....
