Trussville Main Street Animal Clinic

I thought that the vets here were taking good care of my cat. There were a few red flags that I see in hindsight, but it is too late now that my cat has passed. My cat had emergency surgery at Emergency Pet Care and the mass removed was sent for pathology. Since Main Street has been the vet I have taken him to for annual exams for the past couple of years, I took him for follow ups here. The only thing they consistently checked were blood levels, but never anything else. It turned out the cancer had spread to his lungs, which in hindsight and after talking to the emergency vet, we could have seen with a chest xray. The emergency vet had also put him on medicine after the surgery, but Main Street wanted to taper him off “in an accelerated way” because they felt he didn’t need it. Turns out,

Our pup has been taken great care of here! One of the workers was even snuggling our pup while she got her nails trimmed because she was so nervous and stressed. ❤️

I love the people here. They're so thoughtful and take great care of my pets. Been seeing them here for years and I always recommend them to others 🥰

Two of our dogs were boarded here at this place for a week and we left some food for our dogs to eat on such as chicken and turkey with some dry dog food for them to have for their diet and none of it was touched with a faulty report they were fed and it was only recorded that they were fed FOUR TIMES IN A WEEKS STAY FOR 7 DAYS we got home and our dogs lined up at the fridge where we keep their food stored.. it’s ridiculous we were charged the amount it was to keep them there just for them to be hungry and not use the other food that was wasted that we sent with them(talking about the meat) treats were not touched either. Charged $307 I’d would much rather be charged double that if it came with making sure our dogs were fed and people did their job there.. basically being charged for a bat

I could not express more gratitude for the front staff & Mary Griffin, DVM! The vet was considerate, attentive & everything I needed during an emergency for my dog, Murphy. I could not recommend this clinic more!
