Dogtopia of Birmingham - Parkside

I am so happy I found Dogtopia! My 15 month old red golden retriever Finn started daycare here several months ago. The staff provided helpful information on how he would adjust. On his first day he was a little unsure, but now Finn is so excited to go! Everyone greets him by name, and he comes home happy and tired. Dogtopia opens at 6:00 and closes at 7:30 which is perfect for me working at UAB (this also qualified me for getting a discount). Everyone is exceptionally nice and I know Finn is well taken care of. I can see him on the webcam via the app, which also makes scheduling his days super easy. I highly recommend Dogtopia!!

My fur baby Angel is OBSESSED with Dogtopia! The second I say “daycare,” she goes into full-on happy mode—tail wagging, zoomies, the whole deal! I love the webcam because I can sneak peeks at my baby living her best life while I’m away. The staff is amazing—super friendly and clearly love what they do. The facility is always clean (no doggy smell 👏🏽), and Angel never comes home stinky, just tired and happy. Dogtopia is hands-down a five-star experience, and Angel gives it two paws up! 🐶⭐🐾

As amazing as you all are, we were still a little nervous about leaving Dorothy for a few days and overnight. The last time we tried a different location, she was upset with us for days and didn’t want to go back. We didn’t want to risk her feeling that way about a place she truly loves. But you all took such wonderful care of her that returning was no problem at all. The joy we feel watching Dorothy spin in circles at home when we say, “Time to go to school and play!” warms our hearts. And the moments when I have to gently slow her down because she’s so eager to run inside—those are truly priceless. Knowing that she is well cared for and loved in our absence means more than we can express. Hearing your team call her by name makes me giggle every time. I tell so many people about Dogtopi

I can’t give enough stars! This place is incredible. My dog is usually a sassy little diva, she LOVES this place. As soon as we get off the interstate it’s almost like she knows..

If you are looking for a great facility for your dog, this is it. I highly recommend and encourage anyone to bring their pets to this location. Gumbo gets so excited when it is time to go to daycare. I can tell she loves daycare. When she comes home she will fall asleep around 7:30-8:00 pm. She sleeps well. Next morning, she is ready to go again. The staff here is great. They keep you informed of that is happening with your pet. You can also watch your pet on a webcam. I would give this location more than 5 stars if possible.
