We go here for everything! Very friendly staff💙they are super helpful in every way. We just bought 2 birds and are very happy. All our pets have come from here. A snake 2 hamsters and 2 birds now. Its been great over the years. Never failing our expectations.

A while back I purchased a Thai Bamboo ratsnake from tropical kingdom. Immediately upon heading home I noticed he had a respiratory infection and called the store which told me to come back with him. I did, and upon seeing the snake the man working there told me the snake was fine and it was just “stuck shed” despite the snake not having any stuck shed anywhere. I explained that the snake was producing mucus excessively which we could both see, and he continued to talk down to me in a really condescending manner, and told me it was just stuck shed again. I’ve worked with various old world rat snake species before, but finally was able to get him to take the snake until he “felt better”. This store is awesome! I've been coming here regularly for about two years, and gotten multiple reptiles and arachnids from there. The animals are always very healthy and well cared for, and the staff are super knowledgeable about them. I have had thousands of questions and they are always so patient with me. I get my feeders (mice and dubia roaches) from here on a regular basis and they are always great quality. Debbie, Tiana, Derek, and Brett are amazing people who are just so sweet and approachable.

It comes with a lot of pain that I have too leave this review, as this was a store I trusted for many years. I will not be coming back to this store because of how badly a specific staff member has treated me along with my friends and family. I do not know her name but she is a skinny black lady, she has short dreads and has a pretty face. I have been shopping here for years and the last straw was about a week ago. I used too love coming and I truly trusted this store as the only place to get food for my animals, and I've bought multiple pets from here. I started coming here about 15 years ago, and I don't remember when I started seeing this lady, but the first ever interaction I had with her was in 2024. ★☆☆☆☆ This place is an absolute disasteer of a business. Over the years I’ve tried to support them as a local shop, but enough is enough. First, I bought fish plants from them that came with a snail infestation. When I brought it up, the short bald guy at the counter literally laughed in my face and said I should have treated them before putting them in my tank. Excuse me? I bought them from your store. That’s your responsibility, not mine. Then, I purchased a guinea pig that died within two weeks. When I called to let them know, their response was to blame me. I’ve owned guinea pigs for 30 years none of mine have ever died that young. The lack of accountability and compassion was shocking. My last straw came recently when I went in to buy more fish.
