Dr. Alcott and his team are so empathetic and devoted to their practice. My dachshund Theo jumped off the bed Christmas morning and from that his rear legs were becoming very weak/inability to walk. After visiting the ER that same day I decided to call them and explained the situation. They were closed for Christmas break. Even then they took the time to speak with me while I was an emotional wreck. That same day only a few hours after the phone call they allowed me to bring Theo in and preform an MRI followed by surgery. From start to finish Dr. Alcott and his team provided amazing veterinary care! They explain everything throughly all while being extremely empathetic. Can't say enough about how great TVS is or how grateful we are. The professional skills are awesome. All of our questions were thoroughly answered and the surgery was successful.

Doctor Birkel saw my dog who has recently developed epilepsy. She is genuinely kind and compassionate, attentive. She listened to my concerns for my pet, is very informative and balanced with her treatment recommendations. Doctor Birkel spent a good amount of time examining my dog, explaining the tests as she performed them and the expected results. I feel very comfortable with Doctor Birkel's diagnosis and treatment plan. I left the veterinary office feeling better informed about my dog's illness and his continued treatment.

Definitely not a place that you want anybody to have to visit, but certainly the type of place that you’re grateful to have when you need them. They saved our 3-yr old dogs life, and despite a seemingly grim prognosis (MUO), she has made insane progress in her recovery over the last 9 months. So thankful for Dr. Birkel and TVS!!!

UPDATE: Its been a year and my little man is doing great and going strong! Just trying to keep him from jumping on and off the furniture!!! ORIGINAL POST: Dr. Birkel was wonderful. Our little frenchie man went in completely unable to use his hind legs and in horrific pain. They were so friendly and knowledgeable it made us all feel comfortable about the cost to save our little man. He recovered so quickly he was walking again within the week and running and jumping less than a month later. I highly recommend.
