Town of Huntington Cat Shelter Managed by Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center

Although I have not personally adopted through the shelter, I have worked with Michelle many times through their Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program for feral cats. She has been absolutely wonderful to work with—organized, compassionate, and dedicated. Michelle makes the process so smooth by coordinating appointments, providing a safe place for the cats to recover, and offering support every step of the way. Her commitment to animal welfare and the community truly shows in everything she does. I’m grateful for her help and the positive impact she continues to make through this important program.

I recently adopted my sweet girl Moonie (her shelter name was Molecule) from the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! We recently adopted three beautiful kittens one with only three legs. We are absolutely in love with them. The staff couldn't be any kinds or they are wonderful . They answer all my questions still and I've had my kittens for two weeks. Always available . Love it here totally recommend it

We just adopted the sweetest little kitten, and the entire process couldn’t have been better. The staff were incredibly helpful and caring—not only toward the cats in their care, but also toward our older cat and small children at home, making sure we found the perfect match. They shared so much knowledge to ensure the transition was as safe and smooth as possible. When we brought our kitten home, he came with all vaccinations and medical records up to date, so he’s fully covered for the year ahead. Another big plus is their thoughtful approach to outreach: when they attend events or set up booths, they don't bring cats or kittens along. We were honestly shocked at Cow Harbor Day to see other shelters bringing very young kittens into such a loud, stressful fair. This shelter really shows

i will forever love this place, I got both my beautiful marbled tabby girl french toast & my handsome orange boy bibby (bibbidi) from here. michelle & christina are the nicest most welcoming people. they took great care of us when we first got french toast and they did the same when we got bibbidi. i actually met bibbidi two months prior when i came in to see christina and the cats and she let me help socialize the kittens and he was a part of the litter! eventually my fiancé and i decided it was time to get a friend for french toast & we both fell in love with him immediately. i am so thankful this place loves and takes care of their cats very well, and i am glad they have their extensive application to adopt to ensure the cats to go a good home. thank you again for giving us yet anoth
