I remember when Town & Country use to have high quality stuff and much of it is still good such as it's tools and fittings. But many of the items are now cheap and flimsy such as the Do-It-Best Ballcock toilet tank fill valve, toilet seats and plastic runners which I refused to buy. The valve that I had in my toilet, the supposedly brass float rod didn't even last a year because it corroded causing it to brake at the valve and the ball end was badly bent. So when I was in the other day asking this doddering old man that works there about the brass float rod, he started rattling off that everything is plastic and I told him it isn't that the float rod is supposed to be brass that I had to point to in the package. My wife and I went to Town & Country to purchase a washing machine and met with Tony in the appliance department. Tony was very helpful and didn't try to upsell us but helped us with the correct brand and model to fit our needs. Tony was very polite and a pleasure to deal with. Our washer was not only delivered on time, but even early! Both of the delivery men were polite and very professional. Great job!

This is two stores in one - It's a proper hardware store, where you can still buy a single screw, bolt, and/or nut, tools, as well as a large variety of home maintenance items; it's also a UPS drop off and shipping location, where they can even print a pre-paid label for your packages. Everyone I've encountered in this store has been very nice, helpful, and knowledgable ^_^

Used them to ship. Had the correct addresses taped. And they managed to print the labels and place them to wrong box! My Easter was ruined since my recipients did not get the correct items on time. They were no help to fix the mistake. I had to deal with UPS directly. And the solution was to have the items shipped back to original address here in Cville and then back to the correct location. Not only did they not get the correct items for Easter now it will be delayed another two weeks. Beyond upset and disappointed.

What a surprise visit this was! Full blown kitchen and bath remodeling. appliances, gas fire place, furniture and of course everything you need for the DIY. Tool rental, mail center. Wth. Why did I not know about this place sooner?? Love it!
