When my 6-year-old cat Rory needed almost all of his teeth removed, my primary vet referred me to Dr. Hansen. I'm so pleased that there's a board-certified veterinary dentist in the area. He was patient, kind, and, most importantly, highly skilled. This isn't my first time having dental work done on my cats (the ones I adopt tend to come with preexisting dental conditions) but it was my first time with an actual veterinary dentist. Not only was the procedure fast and efficient, my cat healed up exceptionally well. His tech (Heather, I believe?) was also so kind and really helped calm my anxiety about the procedure. Very profession, welcoming, empathetic and easy to work with. Her dog had surgery there and we were absolutely 100% pleased with the encounter from start to finish. While she was there we had an emergency and staff worked with us to make sure that she was cared for and we were comfortable until we could get there to pick her up. She was up and running around within a few hours like nothing had ever happened. I was really Worried because she is very timid, but she was not traumatized in the least. They have to be exceptional to get those kind of results

We chose this practice with a referral from our cat's primary vet, and because we read that Dr. Hansen specializes in dental work. When our 4 year old, overly-excited cat managed to break BOTH of her front fangs in half (because she is crazy), Dr. Hansen was able to save her teeth by doing root canals! He is great at what he does, and thanks for him and his team, our girl was able to keep her teeth. The staff have been nothing short of wonderful - super kind and accommodating. We are very lucky to have a dental specialist in our community!

In Los Angeles, vets were unable to find the right treatment for my cat, but Dr. Amy proved to be incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I took my cat to multiple vets for his digestive issues, and she was the only one who identified the perfect solution, a combination of specialized food and medication. Thanks to her expertise, my cat is now living a happy and healthy life!
