I recently visited Total Pet Care in Holbrook for the first time after adopting two kittens through JensAdoptableCats, which partners with this store. Even though it was a bit of a drive from Nassau County - about 30 miles - it was absolutely worth the trip. From the outside, the building looks a bit like a warehouse, but don’t judge the book by its cover - walk inside, and you’ll be impressed by both the selection and the warm, welcoming attitude of the staff. When I mentioned that I adopted my kittens from the partnered shelter, the staff surprised me with an incredibly generous welcome package. I received a variety of free items, including cat litter, dry food, canned food, treats, toys, and more. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made my day. The store itself is huge and well-

The level of personal service they provide is something you just don’t get from big box retailers, and their home delivery option makes everything even more convenient. I started shopping here because they sell Dr Marty dog food. I stayed shopping here because the customer service is amazing, they DELIVER same day!!?? (If you order before noon) M-F!!! They have a rewards program, and they always check to see if any of your items may have a coupon or promotion. Wonderful selection of items always in stock. Can’t say enough about Total Pet Care!

recently started shopping here since they offer the frequent buyer program and so convenient for delivery! I had to write a review because I was unaware they dont deliver on the weekends - I called and they ended up offering to deliver since I was running out of food. so sweet and caring for a customer! thank you :)
