Total Animal

My family visited here earlier in the week and we had a great experience . I have a family member who is on the spectrum and the cashier at the front was very kind and patient to and with him as he took longer than most at the register than most people . Also, I personally love this store because of all the dog items there ! Car coasters, stickers, ornaments, pens, pajama pants, etc . They also have a huge selection of socks if you're looking for something specific or unique ! Lots of high quality stuffed animals as well for children ! Our family always returns to this store each time we visit Peddlers Village as it is one of our favorites !

Horrible customer service, the woman working there not sure if she’s the owner was extremely rude. First made a comment that we would not fit with the stroller, guess she doesn’t appreciate children in the store. My stroller is compact and fit perfectly fine around the store without issue. Then my daughter had a coaster in her hand which we did not buy and put back before leaving the store and upon us walking out she walked up and asked us what we did with the coaster, I guess suggesting we might be shoplifting?? If you don’t want strollers in the store or children, post a sign outside your establishment.

I will NEVER step foot in this store again. I am appalled at the way my dog and I were treated here. I have a very friendly Belgian Malinois and we went into the store to look around. A small dog owner said her dog was friendly and they greeted each other, only to have the little dog snarl, bark and snap at my dog. My dog is non reactive to this behavior (I am a dog trainer!) and just walked away. However, the owner says to ME "I have to think about the safety of other people and children." I'm sorry lady but my dog is trained and not aggressive but I suppose because of what breed she is, we were automatically at fault even though the small dog owner apologized to me and claimed her dog "has never done that before." Absolutely the most ignorant staff I have ever encountered in my years as a veteran, as a potential customer (that was going to buy something), and especially when we were doing the store a favor by bringing OUR CLIENTS into the shop to buy something for their dog. The woman who runs this store has given me a disgusting attitude on not one occasion but also about a year ago when I had stopped in. Well, you know the saying.. fool me once, fool me twice, won't be fooled a third.

Our family loves this store. They have a huge selection of dog stuffed animals that our kids love and everything else you could want K9 related.
